​Joyce Bowie Scott is an artist with working studios in Lafayette, Louisiana;
Beaver Creek, Colorado; Santa Fe, New Mexico; and S. Bristol, Maine. Her work,
which is represented in collections nationally and internationally, is marketed
through her various seasonal artist studios. She creates art influenced by her various travels
and environments.

Through the years, she has been active promoting the arts and artists in the
areas in which she has resided. Joyce is one of the original founders of the Artists Alliance in
Lafayette, Louisiana and has served on the State Board of the Association for
Louisiana Arts & Artists and the Advisory Art Board for the University of
Southwestern Louisiana. A member of the Advisory Board and the Arts
Selection Committee for the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek, Colorado, she is
also a council member of the Harwood Museum in Taos, New Mexico. 

Joyce Bowie Scott received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University

where she is Emeritus Trustee.
